Anjy has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. She is very passionate about the periodontal field of dentistry, having worked for a periodontist for over 13 years as a Certified Dental Assistant where she assisted in multiple surgeries and educated patients about periodontal disease and all the potential risks that are involved. She also enjoyed the administrative aspect of dentistry, learning everything she can about insurance and treatment planning and advancing her career just as of last year by obtaining her Certified Dental Business Professional certification through the Michigan Dental Association (MDA). Anjy is blessed to call API home and to have her API family supporting her throughout all her achievements. In her spare time, Anjy loves spending time with her husband and their three beautiful children. Not only is she into fashion (shoes), but she is an avid football fan!
Kelli has worked in the dental field for over 20 years in General Dentistry, Orthodontics and her passion being periodontics. Kelli has worked with Dr. Bhola for over 18 years at Advanced Periodontics & Implantology and Metropolitan Dental Center. She has helped in numerous Continuing Education courses, from lectures to hands-on surgical courses the past several years. In her free time, Kelli enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, 3 dogs, and pet pig. She loves traveling, crafting and gardening as her primary hobbies.
The dental field has always piqued Allyce’s interest ever since she was a child. Having worked five years at University of Michigan’s Oral Surgery department as a Patient Service Associate, she gained the experience and knowledge in the surgical aspect of dentistry. She was happy to join Advanced Periodontics as a patient care coordinator. Allyce loves spending time with her twin boys and bringing smiles to others' faces.
Lejla joined our team in March 2018, previously working as a care coordinator and assistant at a general dentistry clinic. She was very excited to join the team here at Advanced Periodontics and Implantology. When she is not at the office, Lejla likes to spend time outdoors with her husband and 2 children. We are very happy to have her as a part of our team!
Jessica Stone has been a patient coordinator for almost seven years now, previously at a General Dentistry office and now she can be found smiling away at our Plymouth location. Her love of dentistry brought her to API so that she may learn more about dentistry from a specialty aspect. She enjoys working and helping people. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her family, and enjoying what life has to offer.
Leah earned her certificate in dental assisting at Kaplan career institute in 2010 and has been working as a dental assistant for the past 12 years. She is certified in Emergency Medical Response and Basic Life support for healthcare providers through the American Red Cross. Leah is extremely passionate about dentistry and loves helping people and making them feel comfortable and confident during their dental treatment. When she is not working, Leah enjoys spending time with her two boys.
Jessica or Jessie, as everyone calls her, is one of our Assistant clinical managers. She has been working for advanced periodontics and implantology for almost 4 years., working along side Dr.Kolhatkar for 3 years. Her high energy, goofy personality, and love for organization is what makes our days look effortless. When Jessie is not working she is spending time with her family, friends, and hanging out by the pool. With her twin husky’s. She enjoys hanging out with her nephew and her two nieces. What Jessie is most grateful for is the mother, daughter bond her and Dr. Kolhatkar have.
Sarah has been working in the dental industry for over 20 years. She joined the Advanced Periodontics and Implantology team in September 2014 and currently works as the insurance coordinator in our Plymouth office. Sarah works hard to fully maximize the insurance benefits for our patients. Sarah and her husband have two kids and a dog. As a family, they enjoy spending time on their lake boating and fishing.
Amber has been with the API family for almost 3 years. She has been in the dental field for almost 10 years. After being in General Dentistry for 5 years she knew that she wanted to specialize in the periodontal field of dentistry. Dentistry is a passion for Amber and she enjoys getting to know and educate her patients. Amber has found her home here working alongside everyone at API. Prior to dentistry, Amber was a member of the United States Air Force. In her free time, Amber likes to spend her time cooking, reading, traveling and making memories with her daughter Anabelle and their kitties April and Showers, their dog Yoda and gecko Freckles.
Nataliya obtained her Registered Dental Assisting license from Grand Rapids Community College in 2017, and has been excelling in the dental field since. With a background in general dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery, periodontics was yet another valuable skill set to add onto the list of her dental skills. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and checking out new local food spots.
After marrying her husband in 2021, Betty moved from California to Michigan, where she continued to pursue her career in the dental field. Betty has worked in the dental field since 2019 and is intrigued by all the new things she learned working at a specialty office. When not working, Betty loves to be outdoors and is always up for trying new things.
Devyani has over 15 years of experience as a dental assistant and holds a Dental Assistant’s Certificate. From lab impressions to surgery preparation, Devyani has been a go-to person over the years and she looks forward to beginning her tenure at Advanced Periodontics. She is a proud mother of two grown boys and a grandmother to two little girls. Devyani likes to spend her free time with family and doing yoga to stay in shape.
Sabrina has been a dental hygienist for over 5 years and over 10 years of experience as a dental assistant. Sabrina is a 2013 graduate from WCCCD and learned early in her career that Periodontics was always her passion. She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats, while striving to ensure our patients always feel 100% comfortable during their visit. To her, there is nothing more gratifying than educating and helping others achieve optimal oral hygiene.
Cindee studied Dental Hygiene at Wayne County Community College and graduated in 2018. As a hygienist, Cindee's priority is to make her patients feel comfortable. She likes to provide education on oral health and preventive care while having fun with them. Cindee really enjoys interacting with her patients and learning about their lives outside the office. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving care. In her free time, she loves being with her family and exploring the beautiful state of Michigan. She loves to garden, camp, and serve in her local Church’s kids' ministry.
Amy has been practicing dental hygiene for 22 years. She has a Bachelor\'s of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. Amy has 17 years experience in general dentistry and 6 years in Periodontics. She is detail oriented and believes in sharing her knowledge with the patient. In her free time, Amy enjoys weight training. traveling, camping, and riding ATVs with her husband and two sons.
